ECO Board of Management
David, Is a Councillor for the City of Owen Sound and a long time resident of the area. He had been involved in the project from its inception and has served as Chair since 1997. David has served on various other boards and committees including the North Grey Union Public Library, Accessibility, Finance and on Fire Services.
Allyson graduated from Small Business Management at Georgian College in Owen Sound. Past positions include Foundation Public Relations Assistant, Administrative Assistant for ECO, Receptionist/Secretary, Classified Ad Taker, Event Coordinator, Inglis Falls Nature Shop Manager, ES Tester/Assembler, Inventory Control Analyst and Production Scheduler.
Allyson was born in Guelph, but has lived most of her life in Owen Sound. She has been married to Gord for 7 years. Between the 2 of them, they have 4 children - Kevin, 23 and Kim, 20, Crystal, 20 and Chris, 18.
Graham Jordan, a long-time resident of Owen Sound, has a familiarity with the Niagara Escarpment beginning with his undergraduate studies in Geology at Brock University in St. Catharines, Ontario, and has specialized in the field of Hydrogeology. Graham's commitment to community service has included Scouting and Lutheran Outreach Ministries. He previously participated in the Grey/Owen Sound Waste Management Master Plan and the Sewell Commission. Graham and his wife, Sharon, have five children between them.
"Brian and his family have lived in Owen Sound and area since 1982. Graduated from the University of Guelph in Resources Management and has recently retired from the provincial government after 26 years, where he held positions as a Community Development Officer with the Ministry of Citizenship, Culture and Recreation and a Tourism Development Consultant with the Ministry of Economic Development, Trade and Tourism. Brian and his wife, Mary Jane, have 3 sons and are also active with Habitat for Humanity - Grey Bruce."
Carl has 14 years previous Municipal Council experience and
is currently the Deputy Mayor of Georgian Bluffs. Carl was appointed
to the ECO Implementation Committee for the past 3 years. Carl runs
his farm 3 miles west of Kilsyth in the former Derby Township featuring
beef farming and making maple syrup. Carl is married to wife Shirley
and they have 2 daughters and 3 sons.
Diane has lived in the Owen Sound area since September 2004. She has wanted to live in this beautiful part of Ontario for many years and now that she has settled here she is excited about getting involved in helping to preserve the beautiful nature of this area. Diane owns and operates her own business in the service industry and in her spare time she likes to hike on the local trails. Her past experiences include working in the professional field and in retail as well as volunteering for a number of committees and organizations.
